Meet Our Team

Jonathan’s parents founded the agency in 1986 as a scratch agent with Erie Insurance. He came on board after getting his Associates degree in Business Management from Surry Community College in Dobson, North Carolina. Jonathan continues to be actively involved with the day to day management of the agency, servicing his existing clients and soliciting prospective clients. He holds both Property & Casualty and Life & Health license in Virginia and North Carolina. He is a member of Professional Independent Agents (PIA). Jonathan sells all lines of insurance specializing in home and commercial accounts. He is an avid collector auto enthusiast.

Joy began her career with Insurance Center of Patrick in 2003. Along with her husband, Jonathan, she is involved with the day to day operations of the agency. She holds a Virginia and North Carolina license in both Property & Casualty and Life & Health. Joy sells all lines of insurance specializing in auto, life and health accounts.

Penny Mitchell has been with the agency for 23 years. Having been Office Manager and CSR for 19 years, she now concentrates on Life and Medicare products. She holds a license for Virginia and North Carolina for Property and Casualty and Life and Health. She services all lines and strives to provide prompt customer service. Penny enjoys spending time with family, going to ballgames, and working in her flower garden.
