Jonathan Large
Owner & Principal Agent
Jonathan’s parents founded the agency in 1986 as a scratch agent with Erie Insurance. He came on board after getting his associates degree in Business Management. Jon is actively involved with the daily management of the agency. Licensed in Property & Casualty and Life & Health in Virginia and North Carolina. Jon sells all and services all lines while specializing in home and commercial accounts. Jon is an avid car enthusiast and collector.
Andrea Joy Large
Owner & Agent
Joy began her career with Insurance Center in 2003. Along with her husband, Jonathan she is involved with the day to day operations of the agency. Licensed in Property & Casualty and Life & Health in Virginia and North Carolina. Joy sells and services all lines while specializing in auto and life accounts. Joy enjoys family outings and working on her farm with her goats, chickens and cows.
Penny Mitchell
Agent
Penny has been with the agency since 2000. Having started as the office manager for 19 years she now focuses on medicare and life. Licensed in Property & Casualty and Life & Health in Virginia and North Carolina. Penny sell and services all lines while specializing in medicare and life accounts. Penny enjoys ballgames and working in her flower garden.
Jeffery Gates
Office Manager
Jeff started with the agency in 2023. Managing front office operations, assisting with schedules, policy inquires and directing you to the right team member. Licensed in Property & Casualty in Virginia. Jeff enjoys playing golf and working on projects at this house.
